"Sky" has returned to his home in Michigan with James Henderson. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have had one more year with this sweet boy!


Sky High Fame is a ROM earning, stakes placed son of Dash Ta Fame. He is also a proven barrel and pole horse. He has sired multiple jackpot winners, rodeo winners, high school finals and college finals qualifiers, and all around horses. 


Dash Ta Fame earned $290,812 while racing primarily in California from 1991-92. The stallion's seven wins in 13 starts included the 1991 Golden State Futurity (G1) and '92 El Primero del Ano Derby (G2), and he ran second in Corona Chick's 1991 Dash For Cash Futurity (G1).raced from 1991-92. Dash Ta Fame currently is the 14th all-time leading sire of racing American Quarter Horses, and he is the all-time leading sire of barrel racing horses. On the track, Dash Ta Fame's runners have earned more than $16.8 million and include 82 stakes winners. His all-time leading earner, Robert and Del Rae Driggers' Gun Battle, won the 2006 Zia Futurity (RG1) at Ruidoso Downs and ran second to No Secrets Here in that season's Grade 1, $1.9-million All American Futurity. Dash Ta Fame's other runners include Grade 1 winner Kendall Jackson, a gelding who at one time held American Quarter Horse racing's 440-yard world record. Through 2010, his barrel racing offspring earned more than $6.3 million, including more than $1.2 million in Barrel Futurities of America competition.


His first dam, Snazzy Indian Sky, was a stakes placed, AA, ROM earning mare by Sky Jet.


Sky Jet ran a SI 101, earning his ROM, and was a stakes winner with a win record of 23-18-3-0 and $43,393 in earnings. He was also named the 1983 Champion Running Paint Three-Year-Old and is a world champion sire.

Sky High Fame's second dam, Snazzy Indian Maid is a AAA producer with progeny earnings in excess of $38,000. She has produced several stakes winners, in additional to several successful barrel horses. She is also a full sister to the World Champion Running Mare, Indian Chick.


Snazzy Indian Maid is by Snazzy Indian, who earned a 108 speed index on the track, and was named APHA Solid World Champion twice and Champion Solid Aged Stallion 4 times.

Sky High Fame's third dam, Chicky Bang Bang, is a AAA producer with progeny earnings of 33,258.02. She produced the 3 Time World Champion Running Filly, Indian Chick.
